I'm going as fast as I can Maireth, and we're almost there.

Maireth flapped his small wings, each flap bringing him an inch above the cave floor.

I want to be there now!

We're here Maireth now let me get some meat for you... Calm down!

Maireth looked pleadingly at me and I smiled as I passed him a platter of werry meat witch he gobbled greedily. As we left the storerooms I bumped into Kyllina, she had not stood on the sands after Sylth had a look at her, W'ryn wanted her to stand before a queen egg, he said she had the stuff to be a queen rider.  

"Hello Kyllina" I said, barely keeping my voice under control.  She was just about to respond to my casual greeting when Maireth pounded his azure head into my back, making me fall head first into her.

Maireth!

What? You like her, don't you?

I swore under my breath, how did Maireth know that?
