Haelaosoapliaialiolthareaithea, normally
referred to as Haela was an elf. not obviously so, if one saw her from a
distance one could mistake her for a human, however on close inspection you
could see the pointed ears, delicate features and almond shaped eyes, and one
thing that if you missed the rest would give her away, her almost musical voice,
making her words seem like a song. therefore Haela kept out of the way of
the humans that she was living next to right now, she had had to many difficult
experiences the most recent the one that had sent her here. as humans are
normally afraid of what they don't understand, one of them had used magic, her
own was quite limited but she recognized the banishment spell, and sent her off
to some far away place, Haela had heard it referred to as the Nexus. that
about puts you into present text and now the story will continue from Haelas'
point of view.
"I tell you I saw something up here, and it wasn't human!" Haela herd one of the humans climbing up to the cleft that she had made her home shout, trying to convince the other one at the base of the sheer cliff to climb up.
"It's probably just someone that wants to live alone" Haela smirked at the irony of that comment "let him live his life in solitude if he wishes" the human finished
"I tell you, if here is something up there its not human!"
"If? a second ago you were sure that there was something up there, now you say IF and expect us to come running up this cliff?"
Haela peeked her head out to see how far the human had gotten. "there see? I told you there was something not human up here!" the man climbing the cliff crowed triumphantly.
"looks human enough to me Gralof despite her white hair, aren't you my dear?" The human at the bottom asked her. Haela hesitated, the man at the top of the cliff could no doubt see her elvish features but the man at the bottom could not. However both of them would be able to hear the inhuman voice. while she had been contemplating the man on the cliff, Gralof, had reached the top of the cliff and roughly grabbed her by her tunic.
"See Royos? never seen ears this pointy on any human!" he shouted down at his comrade down below pointing at her obviously pointed ears.
"Aw come on now Gralof, leave it alone."
"no I'm gonna bring this thing to Vella Crean, they normally have some otherworldly creatures there, maybe they'll take her in."
"Amin auta nysmanke!"
and so it was that Gralof and Royos brought Haelaosoapliaialiolthareaithea, ever resisting, to Vella Crean knowing only that she wasn't human. They never talked to her and Haela got the impression that they were like all the other humans she had met, afraid of anything the didn't understand. when she had said Amin auta nysmanke I go nowhere! she was actually quite eager to meet anyone that wasn't human and by what these ones said there might be.
Haela found herself in a crowd, the one place she didn't want to be, ever. Slender, tall, pale, white haired and elvish are not something you normally use to describe someone, but those were the things that described Haela perfectly. the crowd here was more polite than most of the ones she had been in, they didn't stare at her like she was an alien. Some of them did stare but it was a curious stare not a penetrating stare that unnerved. On arrival she had been told to go to a room that suited her, and she had found one, it was filled with hot sand and in the middle there were several ovoid lumps. she was settling down for the night when a large gust of air sprayed sand everywhere. Haela looked over at the outside entrance startled to see a large bluish figure blocking the entrance, more disturbing was that the eyes were fixed on her, eyes with inelegance that surpassed that of any beast she had encountered.
I am not a beast I assure of that, but I might loose my temper if you don't get away from my eggs
"Your eggs? where... who are you?" Haela whirled around looking for the person who had spoken. she heard a draconic laugh and looked back up at the dragon blocking the sunlight.
Yes, MY eggs! Now stop that your almost stepping on them! I am Eeppoth and I am up on this ledge.
"but your a... a... a..."
Dragon?
"Yes! but how do you..."
Talk to you in your head? Dragons have T-power which enables us to use telepathy. Now get off my eggs.
The dragon swooped down from her perch, the voice had a definite female aura, and carefully started to nudge her eggs around. once she had them arranged to her satisfaction her gaze was on Haela.
Gem, I have found a candidate for my clutch. come down here with the search riders to make sure my decision is sound.
Eeppoth continued to inspect Haela without speaking then,
I have found you suitable.
"What?"
Do you accept candidacy for my clutch?
"Whatever that is I do, as long as I don't have to deal with too many humans."
I think that can be arranged, but you will have to take up different quarters
The dragoness looked at the pile of sand Haela would have used as a bed, gave a snort, and leveled it.
During the next few weeks Haela found herself unable to sneak off to somewhere she could be alone. As a result she had to deal with the rest of the world, something she did not want to do. But now someone else has arrived, someone like yet unlike herself.
"...Who's he?" "...What's one of his kind doing here?" they were just some of the comments directed at the figure at the entrance to Vella Crean was subjected to, curious I walked over to the figure trying to find out why the people were so unfriendly towards him, they had been more friendly at my arrival. Before I reached the man I saw several of the people surrounding him scurry off, obviously afraid. My curiosity piqued, I hurried forward.
The elf, I could see that his ears were pointed, glanced up at me and my mouth gaped open as I saw his face blue-ish gray skin and hair, garbed in the Drow dress of black. I tried to form a question but my mouth was still hanging open in shock, then I got it out after I regained control.
"What are you doing here?" I managed, I was going to say more but he cut me off with his response.
"Seeking refuge," he said calmly, "most of the people around here aren't all that friendly towards otherworldlies, like me, but here I thought that I might be tolerated." I could see him glancing at the retreating forms of some of the humans still walking slowly away from us but then he continued, "Obviously not." Retreating to the shadows in the corridor he watched my puzzled expression. I decided could see that he was sizing me up deciding my age and knowledge of Drow. I saw I slight smile form on his lips, no doubtfully reviewing some dark thought.
I felt his gaze on me again and I looked him in the eye, piercing him with my ice blue eyes, I could see shock register on his face. At that instance I felt as if I was immersed in a magical essence. It seemed to have an effect on the Drow as well. Shock, amazement and grief passed through my eyes as his life was displayed before me, like pages of a book. Something was happening, I realized and I was doing something to the Drow. For a moment o was in ecstasy for a second and then it was gone replaced by nothing, except exhaustion.
head drooping I stared down at the ground then I looked up at the Drow his name was Elduendemuymalofueraelmoldedelbajomundo I knew somehow, I knew him I knew his life. shuddering, I razed my head so that I looked him in the eye but the experience did not repeat itself. I realized how tired I was then my boy drooped and fell, unconscious, onto Elduen.

"Yes, he's a Drow but he is not evil" I said continuing a debate about Elduen with Eeppoth.
And may I ask how you know this Haelaosoapliaialiolthareaithea? Eeppoth asked.
"I... I don't know" I said. "I looked into his eyes and it was as if his entire life was spread out in front of me, whatever it was it was really tiring and I must have fallen unconscious."
so you have no reason for me to believe that this filth, I could see him wince that is now awake I might add, was not here to wreak havoc as the rest of his kind do?
"he has..." I began but I was cut off by Elduen.
"I have turned from the gods and goddesses worshiped by the Drow and have been exiled from the Underdark for that reason." his voice cracked as he mentioned the underdark. I gave him a pitying look, he saw it and put on a mask to hide his feelings.
You still wish to be there I can tell, therefore...
The dragoness cut of abruptly and I moved over to talk to Elduen. I could sense a multitude of thoughts funning through his head.
"Eeppoth must have been contacted by one of the other dragons here, she might get called away somewhere. Then she'll have to let you go for a bit." I said to reassure him, I could tell that he was nervous. A draconic growl interrupted to silence that followed my comment.
Elduen, my mate thinks you would make a good candidate for my clutch. I do not consider this a good decision but, I will allow it.
He stared at the dragon in stunned silence, I was tempted laugh but managed to keep that in check.

Again and again we had been called down to the sand, and each time we went back to our rooms to resume what we were doing. I had a feeling this time it would be different. as I saw the sands I knew it had to be, the eggs were rocking, the draconic occupants trying their hardest to get out.
A blue hatched first, making her way over to me and the other girls. The blue dragoness walked off the sands with her new lifemate. Two more eggs hatched, a blue and green, they looked at each other for a while then headed off in opposite directions, the green towards the small group of boys, the small blue to the me and the other girls.
Looking down I saw the tiny dragon at my feet. Puzzled, yet
my eyes lit with hope. I bent down to the
little blue, who looked up at my with glee.
You are mine rider! For I am Spissimoth, and we
will be together for ever! I grinned as she looked down at the
blue, and smiled. Like her sister, this blue was no doubt female.
"Spissimoth..." I murmured, trying the name out on my tongue.
"Spissimoth... I like it."
Good! because I'm not changing it!
Laughing at Spissimoth's comment at we headed off the sands I stroked her eye ridges
Mmmmmm... that feels good!
Spissimoth leaned into my caress, smiling I rubbed harder as we went to go get some food.
Food?
She sounded so eager I laughed, "yes silly little dragon, food. I wouldn't want you to be hungry would I?"
No, you wouldn't, now where is the food?
"over there silly" I pointed in the right direction. Spissimoth looked like she was going to leap into the bloody mess but I held her back "don't want to get your pretty hide bloody Spissimoth."
Grumbling, she picked at the meat. I'M HUNGRY!
"then eat, but don't get blood all over yourself!" I replied
